Finally, the state program of the Ministry of Transportation in Thailand for the reconstruction of the pavement in the Kingdom reached the highway Bangkok - Pattaya. This route connects Pattaya not only with the capital of the country, but also with Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

 

Part of highway (from the 1st to the 80th km) is a toll road and asphalt in this area is always been in perfect condition. The question was in the interval from 80th to the 130th km, which is closer to Pattaya. Numerous pits, holes, the lack of lighting and road markings are not allowed drivers to relax behind the wheel. But now everything has changed...

 

Starting from June 2014 workers transgressed to the reconstruction of this segment of the road. In almost all road section had put new asphalt and builders promise to complete the work to replace the pavement before the end of the year.

The only part of the road, which will continue to work on the construction of two-level interchange - 90th - 95th km. Road junction promise to finish in spring 2015.

 

The new site will be the third segment of toll road. Directions on it will cost the same as the other two - 30 Bath. Accordingly, the price of the entire road from Bangkok or the airport to Pattaya is 90 Baht, but, as stated in the ministry, the time to overcome reduced at least by 10 minutes.
